Mongolia is currently the fastest growing economy in the world. Due to their abundance of natural resources and proximity to major international markets, Mongolia expects to realize double-digit economic growth over the next ten years. GAGE International began working in Mongolia in 2006. Since then, GAGE has become involved in various business projects and currently represents the Embassy of Mongolia before the United States Congress and the Executive Administration.
In 2011, GAGE International established GAGE Mongolia to oversee GAGE’s business interests in Mongolia and to provide general consulting services to companies and investors entering the Mongolia market. Headquartered in Ulaanbaatar GAGE Mongolia continues to develop numerous projects in Mongolia with focus on developing projects in the infrastructure and mining sectors, as well as developing investor relations for existing projects.
The Mongolia Fund specializes in investing in distressed and undervalued or underperforming businesses and other special situations through debt and equity across Mongolia. The team is experienced in the acquisition of distressed debt, leading corporate restructuring and refinancing, and providing equity for buy-outs.
Established in 2008, Gage is co-owner of GN Beverages which holds the exclusive bottling and distribution rights for Pepsi products in Mongolia. GN Beverages currently bottles Pepsi products at their bottling facility in Ulaanbaatar. GN Beverages is constructing a new bottling facility to handle excess demand for Pepsi products. GN Beverages is currently distributing Pepsi products throughout Mongolia using their fleet of vehicles.
GemNet owns and operates a 24-strand fiber optic cable transiting Mongolia with interconnection with Russian and Chinese carriers. GemNet holds a license from the Government of Mongolia to provide wholesale internet services to Mongolia’s internet service providers (ISPs). GemNet currently provides 95% of internet connectivity for the country through third party ISPs. Beginning in 2012, GemNet will begin offering redundant dark fiber routes between Europe, Asia and India.

AmCham Mongolia is an independent membership-driven organization that seeks to build, strengthen and protect business between the United States and Mongolia and to promote Mongolia as a destination for global investment. AmCham Mongolia has a variety of activities that support its core mission. All activities are designed to help U.S. companies to succeed in Mongolia and to assist Mongolian businesses to develop greater participation in either the U.S. market or by U.S. investors.
